...THIS just about sums it up.
The problem that I have with the New York Times talking about how Bush and company jettisoned the Geneva Conventions and how their ideology got the better of them after 9/11 is that we saw all of this BEFORE the launch of the Iraq war. Judith Miller was typing away for the Grey Lady and helped sell that war. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that they are focusing on all of the things brought on by the Theory of Unitary Executive, I just wish they were skeptical and inquisitive when the Geneva Conventions were thrown out the widow in the October of 2001 by this guy.
