Wright Messin' with Obama

After having watched the footage, listened to the pundits and Obama's press conference and finally letting it sink in for a while, it's easy to see what Wright is actually doing.  Wright, rightfully so, has been greatly affected by his own experience growing up in white racial America, so much so that Obama wanting to bring the country together and get over the divisions of the past to fix the HUGE problems we have staring us in the face is a direct threat to Wright's beliefs and own personal issues.  The far Right (not Rev. Wright) has the same attitude towards Obama because of his foreign policy beliefs.  Those beliefs are the antithesis of what the Neocons stand for and just as Rev. Wright, the far Right feels very threatened by Obama and his movement.  Both Wright and THE Right are terrified that Bush 2.0 has put us into a position where our problems are so huge, so evident that the divide that both of them have been living off of for the last few decades could disappear if Obama is elected President.  Obama is the only person who could bridge those divides; showing the world we're ready to work together instead of dictating and to show our country and ourselves that we're ready to move past the divides of the past.  So to come right down to it, Wright's messin' with Obama and the far Right couldn't be any happier... until they realize that since Senator Clinton has persisted and stayed in the race, that since she has afforded the time for all of this to unfold, there won't be any bullets in their gun by the time November rolls around.  Obama should be thankful that he has an opportunity to cut the cord with Wright now and not in October.  After seeing the Bill Moyers' interview with Wright, I was very taken aback and felt that the interview really hurt Obama but his campaign bushed it off (very bad move) and it took for Wright to go out and stoke that spark into a fire till Obama disowned him.  The campaign, in our 24 hour 7 day a week news cycle, should have realized this was going to blow and head it off at the pass... they didn't do that.  They waited for defcon 4 and that concerns me as a former strategist; but at least he did it today.
